SRV FFA Week starts tomorrow!! Dress-up Days are for Junior High and High School students!

We were excited to welcome back former student Zeke Loveland today! Zeke graduated at the top of his technical program and now works in HVAC building a strong career through skill, hard work, and hands-on learning. Our students heard firsthand that there are many pathways to success, and skilled trades offer incredible opportunities right here in our region. Thank you, Zeke, for pouring back into the next generation!

Today (Friday 2/20) we handed some Viking Shoutouts to incredible members of our school community who are making a difference! 👏 Students showing growth, kindness, leadership, and determination. 👏 Staff going above and beyond to support kids and colleagues. 👏 Team members creating spaces where every student feels seen, valued, and cared for. The Chief Shaubena Chapter, Roseville, IL, National Society Daughters of the American Revolution, would like to recognize Ella Eathington of Spoon River Valley High School, as a 2025-2026 Good Citizen Award recipient. Ella's parents are Kevin and Dr. Patricia Eathington of Rural Ellisville. While in high school, Ella has participated in FFA, SWAT and Student Council. Ella is also a member of the North Fulton girls basketball and volleyball teams. Ella will be attending the University of Illinois in the fall.

The DAR Good Citizen Award was created in 1934 and is intended to encourage and reward the qualities of: Dependability, Service, Leardership, and Patriotism.

Ella will be recognized by the Chief Shaubena Chapter at their meeting on March 10, 2026. Congratulations Ella!!
