NOTICE OF PUBLIC HEARING

Notice is hereby given by the Board of Education of Spoon River Valley CUSD No. 4 in the counties of Fulton and Knox; State of Illinois, that the budget for said school district for the fiscal year beginning July 1, 2025, will be on file and conveniently available for public inspection at the office of the Superintendent of Schools from and after 9:00 a.m. on August 12, 2025, through September 15, 2025, at 35265 N IL Hwy 97, London Mills, Illinois.

Notice is further hereby given that a public hearing on said budget will be held at 6:00 p.m. on September 15, 2025, in the Board of Education room at the Jr.-Sr. High School building in this Community Unit School District No. 4.

It was so great to see so many of you at registration! If you somehow missed registration and your child plans to attend school at Valley this fall please contact the office to make arrangements to register your student.

Attention: When you come to registration on Wednesday we want you to know water is currently turned off in the building as they finish up a plumbing project. Please try and limit your restroom use while at the building. Thank you!

Due to refinishing the gym floor. Volleyball practices and camp schedule for Monday the 11th, Tuesday the 12th, and Wed the 13 have been moved to Cuba Valley bus will leave at 7:30 for high school practice and at 9:30 for K-8 grade camp. The girls will return to Valley around noon

Students in the Junior/Senior High. Please see the attached poster for your color to wear for the back to school day on August 18th. We've got lots of fun activities scheduled for that first day back. Which class will come out as the winner?

School registration for Grades K-12. Wednesday, August 6th from 9:00 am to Noon and then again from 2:00 pm to 7:30 pm. The board has waived general student fees this year. We look forward to seeing you in the High School commons on Wednesday.
